The all time favorite, from college kids to your average house party. Asshole is the game where it’s great to be the president and sucks to be the ASSHOLE.

This game is so basic yet everyone always has different rules, but I love the original so much better.

Original Rules:

Everyone is dealt cards till the deck is finished. Card values are as they are 2 - Ace.

The person next to the dealer starts with a throw and it continues till one person has no cards left. This original way was started in the 80’s and has had no wild or clear cards. The 2 came out later and stuck as a universal clear card. The first person to get rid of his/her cards is the president. Then it keeps going down till there is an ASSHOLE.

Asshole has to do anything and I mean anything the president tells them till there is a new asshole. *you get Skipped when a card is thrown before you that is the same as the person before him/her

New Rules:

Now there are so many new rules and ways to play that I will bullet the ones I have learned and played with.

• 2’s are clear cards: Can be thrown anytime its your turn
• 3’s are wilds: Are higher then the Ace
• Two cards: “pair” are higher then an ace, only two higher are better
• 4 of a kind clear: If you throw 1 card and I have the other 3, or you throw 2 cards and I have the other 2 then it’s a clear. “You can throw out of turn with this rule.
• President three in a row: When this happens you make up a house rule that will be in affect forever.
• Give your best cards: President always gets the assholes best card. But you can lie and give something else. If the president thinks your lying he can call you out if you are not lying he automatically becomes ASSHOLE.
• Picking up your cards: You can’t pick up your cards till the asshole picks them up. If you do you are automatic ASSHOLE
• Everyone has power: The power is with everyone above ASSHOLE but it’s a ladder of power – The original only gives president power
• Kicked out: If you don’t do a rule or deny the presidents request you are kicked out of the game.
